What is Vanity In London?

Vanity In London is a professional mobile beauty company that delivers a variety of professional beauty treatments in the comfort of you own home or a location of your chosen location. Our website is designed with you in mind so allows you to book yourself in at a time & place that suits you.

What services do Vanity In London offer? 

Currently, Vanity In London offers Nail, waxing, Lash & Brow treatments, Eyelash extensions and Spray tanning treatments. Our full treatment menu can be viewed here. We also offer these treatments for bridal services via email bookings only contact us.

What are your hours of operation?

Depending on the availability of our therapists we offer appointments from 10am till 9pm, 6 days a week. However, please note that each therapist currently sets her own schedule on our platform, so availability can vary. Our customer service hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm. If you try to contact us outside of these hours, we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

What areas do you cover?

For individual group booking we cover all London postcodes, for group booking and events we can travel further out.

Is there a call out charge?

No, all our prices do not have a call out charge, however if  you live within the congestion zone and/or if  you have any parking restrictions to park outside or near your home clients are liable to cover these cost of this which will need to paid directly to their therapist upon upon her arrival. 

Do you have a salon?

We don’t  have a salon as Vanity In London is a  Mobile Beauty Company that come straight to your door.

Is there a minimum spend?

Yes, we ask for a minimum spend of £30 in order to process your booking, our booking system will not allow any charge under £30 to be processed otherwise.

Can I book multiple treatments at the same time?

Yes, you can. Feel free to add as many treatments as you’d like to your booking before checking out. If you are booking multiple same-day treatments with the same professional, please keep in mind that you will have to book these consecutively. For same-day treatments, our best advice is to book in advance to guarantee availability.

Do I need any equipment?

No, your Vanity In London beauty therapist will come with everything that is required for your treatment all we ask is that you have a table and at least 2 chairs, with a nearby wall socket for our therapist to carry out the treatments if need be. For eye and any other treatments where this is necessary we’ll bring our portable fold-up couch for you to lay on then well do the well do the rest.

Do I have enough space?

Don’t worry! We carry out waxing, eye treatments & body exfoliation treatments on our portable fold-up bed, but if space is a real issue we can carry out these treatments on your bed or sofa covered with towels.

Are your therapist fully qualified to do my treatments?

Yes, all our team of therapists are fully qualified with at least 3 years of experience working within the industry. Our team are pre-screened and trained in-house to ensure professional standards are maintained, consistent and delivered safely throughout. Every experience with us is followed up by a feedback and ratings test to this is being met. All our girls have undergone a criminal background check as part of joining the Vanity In London team.

How do I pay?

All our bookings are pre-paid online to avoid any hassles on the day of your booking. Bookings are paid via credit or debit card and processed by our third party partners PayPal & Strip.

How do I book an appointment?

Clients are expected to make their own booking through this website using our online booking system where you can book a time and day that suits you.

I am having trouble booking on Vanity In London, what can I do?

If you are experiencing a problem, please use our chat room found at the bottom right of your screen where we can assist you with any questions or problems may be experiencing. We will do our best to respond quickly to assist you with your booking. You can alternative email us or call 07930 155491.

What is a patch test and will need to book one in before my treatment?

A patch test is basically a quick allergy test that we do to ensure you are not allergic to the product that we will be using for some of our eye treatments. The treatments recommended & necessary for patch testing are LVL eyelash perming and Eyelash & eyebrow tinting which is required for ALL our clients to have at least 24 hours before your treatment booking is due to take place. This just takes a few minutes to do and requires your therapist applying a small amount of product to the crease of your arm. If you you start to experience itching, swelling, rash or any other adverse reaction as a result then means your treatment can not take place & therefore a full refund will be issued. Once you’ve had an initial patch test with Vanity In London you don’t need another.

Once you’ve have booked in for your treatments we will then call or text you to arrange a convenient time that suits you for our therapist to come over to carry out to your patch test.

Can I enter add my address upon making a booking?

All Vanity In London treatments are automatically booked for the default address you have set in your account profile. You can always change this on your booking page if you’d like to have your treatment at another location.

Is Gel removal included in my treatment?

Gel removal is considered an extra treatment and therefore is not included automatically . Please book a gel removal, if necessary in addition to your other treatments, failure to do so may result in your therapist not being able to carry out your treatment subject to your therapists availability.

Can I cancel my appointment?

We understand that you may need to change, cancel or rearrange your booking, This can be done 24 hours before your booking without any additional cost. Any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice cannot be refunded or carried over to another day, this also includes any treatments being changed or re-booked on the day.

What happens if either myself or my professional are running late?

If you are running late for an appointment email us at hello@vanityinlondon.co.uk or call 07930155491. If you are more than 15 minutes late, this will result in your booking being shortened or your booking being cancelled without refund. This is would be subject to your therapist’s availability to wait for you, so we do ask you to kindly be on time. If the therapist is running late, we will let you know in advance – however we do allow a 10-15 minutes lee-way either side due to the busy London traffic. Your time is very important to us and our therapists make every effort to be on time.

Can I tip my therapist and if so how can I do this?

If you wish to tip your Vanity in London therapist you can do this by paying her cash directly although tips are not required nor expected.

Start time…

We ask you to give your therapist 15 minutes leeway either side to allow for set up time and to accommodate the London traffic. In the unfortunate circumstance that the therapist is delayed for some reason your treatment time will not be affected unless it is no longer suitable to you and we will re-book your appointment with no additional charge.

Parking and Congestion

If  you live within the congestion zone or if your therapist is required to pay to park outside or near your home, clients are liable to cover the cost of this which you can pay directly to your therapist with cash upon her arrival to cover the cost of this. Your therapist will let you know before hand if this is the case. If possible please let us know when booking if there are any parking restrictions. Currently congestion fees are active Monday-Friday 7am – 6pm and cost £11.50 if any booking are made during time. If you wish you can always make a booking after this time in which case this fee will not apply.We do not automatically include the cost of parking or congestion the our pricing.

Group Bookings & Pamper Parties

Group bookings  and pamper parties we can be tailored to suite your needs, together we can come up with the right treatment package for you and your party.

Please note for group bookings and pamper parties we require full payment to secure the booking and once booked parties are non-refundable. We cannot issue any refund for any treatments cancelled, changed or re-booked on the day. To change or amend your booking or if we haven’t answered your question please get in touch.

Questions, complaints, or feedback

We love to hear your feedback and are always happy to answer your questions. We will always try our best to act on right away! So just email us and we will get back to you. If you have a complaint regarding beauty treatments, we’ll need to know the nature of the complaint within 24 hours of you receiving the service. If your complaint is regarding gel nails we need to know within 5 days of you receiving your treatment. We ask that you email us with supporting photos to enable us to make a decision. In most circumstances, we will try our best to arrange for your therapist to come back and correct it.

Gift vouchers

Once you have purchased a Vanity In London gift voucher we’ll send you or the recipient a gift card along with your personalised message to the recipient via email, if you’d prefer to receive a physical gift voucher please respond to the email containing your electronic e-voucher or by sending us an email to hello@vanityinlondon.co.uk stating your request along with your name and address or the recipients full name and address and we’ll get this sent out to you or your recipient within 7 days.

Our gift voucher payments are processed through PayPal. Once you have selected your voucher options on our site you’ll then be directed to Paypal where you just need to follow the instructions in order to complete your payment. Don’t have a Paypal account?Don’t worry just select ‘pay with credit/ debit card’ and away you go! Once completed you will receive a confirmation e-mail along with your e-gift voucher.
